Pods of cobia will cruise the near shore waters so close to shore that you can catch them with a long cast net from the beach or from one of the many local Piers.
Its really no secret where the fish will be, you just have to get out there and scout around. There tends to be a lot of Cobia at 110 – 140 feet of water
Cobia come in shallow when the water temps near 68-70 degrees.
With a West or Northwest wind to keep the seas down and clear skies minimize glare for spotting fish in Late March and April.
Enjoy your Day Off
