In 1992 the $100 million dollar KRAVIS CENTER, named after oil consultant and philanthropist Raymond F Kravis , opened its doors and became a foundation for the New West Palm Beach.

People started coming here because of the Kravis , and segued into City Place and the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

THE KRAVIS CENTER OFFERS SEVERAL VENUES INSIDE THE BUILDING: DREYFOOS HALL, THE RINKER PLAYHOUSE, THE GOSMAN AMPHITHEATRE AND PERSSON REHERSAL HALL.

The center promotes and supports Local Talent, Palm Beach Opera, The Miami City Ballet, The Palm Beach Pops, Palm Beach Atlantic University . It’s first rate classical music programming and popular BROADWAY SHOWS that have earned the community’s respect.

The venue draws its audience heavily from Palm Beach and neighboring counties, but also from around Central and South Florida.
